Love for Food: Cafe Boheme & Le Souk

I think it is not a crime for a woman to crave for all these things and have it all in one night.

The great thing about restaurants in BF Homes is that they're just beside each other. These two particular places: Cafe Boheme & Le Souk have to be my favorite hang-out places. Not only do they have a great ambience, they also serve a great list of food.

Coolatree Ave.

There's this one thing that I hate about internet shops here in the Philippines, ugly ambience (broken furnitures, slow internet connection, too noisy customers playing online games, and the like). You pay for a great stay, not for a rowdy crowd.

A friend of mine, Angelica Aba, owns this internet shop in Taft Avenue, Manila named Coolatree Ave. I have to say it's one of the best places I've been because it is the complete package of the cozy, stylish internet shop.
Coolatree Ave. (located at Unit 131, The Manila Residences,
Taft Ave., Malate, Manila)

Internet rate: P25/hr
Printing rate: P2.50/page

Expect fast service, internet connection & no back aches thanks to
the cozy chairs! :)

What I love about this place, too is that there's that perfect touch of art. As an Arts Management student, I loved how Coolatree is filled with vintage posters that were ordered from antique shops. Some are even collector's items!!

Cafe Boheme

I'm pretty sure most of us hate the fact that Starbucks or Coffee Bean or Seattle's Best has been so crowded lately, that you'd rather stay at home and have that 3-in-1 coffee. Well, I have a perfect coffee place (especially for people from the South) that I can say has the perfect ambience.

Located at BF Homes, Paranaque (beside Le Souk, acroos Tides Bar)
Cozy sofas everywhere! Stay the whole day, it's all good.
This shelf offers great novels, crayons for kids, board games and even chips for
everyone to enjoy.

Cakes ranging from P90-P110/ slice. Worth it, must try their red velvet. :>

Countdown to Aging

One of the best things in life is witnessing a friend grow up, and take another step to a greater life.

On-the-house shot from Le Souk! Happy 19th, mister!

The birthday salubong happened last June 02, 2012 with some of my high school batchmates at Le Souk Bar & Grill, BF Homes. This place holds too many memories for us.

Kalayaan 2012

Yesterday, June 12, 2012, marked the 114th Philippine Independence Day. I never really had a chance to celebrate this important and historical event but for this year, along with Cultural Center of the Phils. (CCP), National Historical Commission of the Phils. (NHCP), and ABS-CBN, I was able to be part of the production team for Kalayaan 2012.

The theme of the celebration this year - KALAYAAN: PANANAGUTAN NG BAYAN PARA SA TUWID NA DAAN - shall focus on the vision of our President Benigno S. Aquino III for a nation of sovereign people. It shall stress the accountability and responsibility of the citizenry as embodied in the Constitution.

The flow of activities at Quirino Grandstand were divided into three parts, patterned to the three main islands of the Philippines: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Senior Iskolar ng Bayan

Tita: "Anong year ka na ba sa pasukan, Dane?"
Me: "4th year college po... Omg, 4th year na ko?"

It's been so fast, I lost track in time. Am I really about to graduate already?

I've been through a lot of difficulties during my stay here in the state university, UP Manila.

From the first day of my Freshman year as a BS Pharmacy student to the remaining months of my residency as a BA Philippine Arts student... I could definitely say it's a crazy, stressful yet memorable ride.

So call me maybe?

So this Call Me Maybe song by Carly Rae Jepsen is getting everyone have the last song syndrome (LSS) and mess through everyone's minds.

After watching this video of Georgina Wilson, Solenn Heusaff, Isabelle Daza, Liz Uy, Anne Curtis and other Filipino artists, me and my friends decided to make a crazy one.

We barely had to shoot nine videos and edit it into one to make this. It's a lame, typical edit but hey. We really had fun doing it. :))

Live the Life

I wonder what could've happened if this actual video started to spread like fire in Facebook, Twitter, etc...

We had to make this really impromptu video for a friend of mine (Nicole Tarriela) who was supposed to organize a party event in her school but eventually did not push through.

I had to keep this video, I made great memories during this night... :)
