ADMU draws first blood against DLSU.

Nothing beats a classic UAAP game between the eternal rivals, the De La Salle Green Archers & the Ateneo De Manila Blue Eagles.

For this 75th season of the UAAP, I am sure that the De La Salle community expects a lot from the Archers basketball team after a four-year drought. With the rookie, Jeron Teng who has proven himself already in the past games, and veterans LA Revilla, Norbert Torres and Luigi dela Paz, the team's and community's spirits are up and hoping for a win from the Eagles.

The 3rd quarter for the Archers heightened the energy of the green crowd. DLSU had their turns of leading but unfortunately, not everyone from the team were on their best shape against the ADMU. LA Revilla, point guard, led the team all throughout the game. The most expected player to step up that day, Jeron Teng (brother of Jeric Teng, veteran UST player) wasn't able to survive the big men of Ateneo. Though he's only a rookie, he did well by performing double digits.

Still a proud De La Salle community. Good job, Archers. Animo!

Ateneo's a team that is hard to defeat this season. It's only the first round of eliminations, let's see what the DLSU Archers can bring on the next games.
